Six companies received innovation awards at 'World IT Show 2024', Korea's largest information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition. The World IT Show Innovation Award is given to companies with innovative technologies, such as domestic startups and small and medium-sized enterprises. The Minister of Science and ICT Award went to four companies: △VaultCreation (V-glass), △Marketons (Hovering Hologram), △FRT Robotics (4th generation StepUp), and △ESTsoft (Person Live). △Lordsystem (TripPass) and Mirrorroid (Mirart AI Mirror) won the World IT Show Organizing Committee Award (Excellence Award).

Robotics company FRT Robotics has launched its 4th generation StepUp wearable robot. When the user wears the robot, the robot supports the back muscles when carrying luggage. It operates in two modes: 'Assist Mode', which is used when lifting luggage, and 'Free Mode', which assists with normal walking. It is also equipped with a function that can monitor the work environment and worker status in real time. It can identify the risk level by recognizing oxygen saturation and flammable gases in the workplace.

Marketons has developed hovering hologram technology to enable viewing clear hologram images even in bright environments. It can be viewed in the air without any medium, and image touch is also possible, so unlike AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality), you can enjoy realistic images without goggles. It is expected to be used in various fields such as automobiles, finance, and ChatGPT. Yang Chang-jun, CEO of Marketons, said, ""This year, we will enter the US, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, etc. to lead the hovering hologram market.""

Lordsystem implemented an electronic passport on mobile. On the TripPass platform based on a mobile passport, a QR code containing passport information can be generated by recognizing the electronic passport chip and going through biometric authentication. The company explained that foreign tourists can also use various services based on passport authentication, such as prepaid cards and transportation cards, through the platform.
