Six companies received innovation awards at ‘World IT Show 2024’, Korea’s largest information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition. The World IT Show Innovation Award is an award given to companies with innovative technologies, such as domestic startups and small and medium-sized businesses. The Minister of Science and ICT's Award went to four companies, including Bolt Creation (V Glass), Marketone (hovering hologram), FRT Robotics (4th generation Step Up), and Eastsoft (Personalive). △Road System (Trip Pass) and Mirroroid (Mirat AI Mirror) won the World IT Show Organizing Committee Award (Excellence Award).

Robotic company FRT Robotics has launched the 4th generation Step Up product, a wearable robot. When the user wears the robot, the robot supports the back muscles when carrying the load. It operates in two modes: 'Assist mode', which is used for lifting luggage, and 'Free mode', which helps with general walking. It is also equipped with a function that allows real-time monitoring of the working environment and worker status. The level of risk can be identified by recognizing oxygen saturation and flammable gases in the workplace.

Marketone developed hovering hologram technology to enable clear hologram images to be viewed even in bright environments. It can be viewed from the air without a medium and the image can be touched, so unlike AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality), you can enjoy realistic images without goggles. It is expected to be used in various fields such as automobiles, finance, and Chat GPT. Changjun Yang, CEO of Marketon, said, “This year, we will lead the hovering hologram market by entering the US, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan.”

Road System implemented the e-passport on mobile. Trip Pass, a mobile passport-based platform, recognizes the e-passport chip and verifies biometric information to generate a QR code containing passport information. The explanation is that foreign tourists can also use various services based on passport authentication, such as prepaid cards and transportation cards, through the platform.​
