FRT Robotics Co., Ltd. (CEO Jang Jae-ho, pictured), located in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongbuk, is a company specializing in wearable and rough terrain robots comprised of researchers from government-funded institutions.

FRT Robotics develops and manufactures wearable robots for extreme environments and operates a safety management platform based on data collected from robots.

Since securing the high-power exoskeleton robot suit-based technology for the implementation of super soldier/labor in 2009, achievements have been made in the development of upper and lower extremity exoskeleton mechanism technology, user intention detection technology, and wearable muscle augmentation robot technology.

In 2022, the self-developed hydraulic wearable robot received the Prime Minister's Award (Gold Award) for Excellent Design of the Republic of Korea and acquired ISO9001, KC, CE, and IPX4 certification.
