Launch of StepUp NEO at the Korea Construction Safety Expo

FRT Robotics, a leading wearable robotics company, unveiled its new product StepUp NEO for the first time at the Korea Construction Safety Expo 2025, drawing strong interest and positive feedback from visitors and industry professionals. The exhibition, held from September 17 to 19 at KINTEX in Goyang, is themed around “Smart Construction Safety Management” and showcases the latest solutions for enhancing safety and efficiency in industrial sites.
StepUp NEO features an ultra-lightweight, power-free design that allows for extended wear without strain. Its exoskeleton structure can be adjusted to fit the user’s waist, pelvis, and leg length, while three interchangeable gas springs provide customized support tailored to different work environments. With no need for batteries or motors, the device minimizes maintenance requirements, making it highly practical for real-world applications.
Founded in 2015 through a national R&D initiative, FRT Robotics has built a decade of expertise in wearable robotics. The company has already proven its technology’s reliability by supplying its procurement-designated innovative products to public agencies such as the Korea Forest Service and the National Fire Agency. With the attention StepUp NEO is receiving at this exhibition, the company is accelerating its preparations for global market entry and an upcoming IPO.
A company representative stated, “StepUp NEO is not just a muscle-assist device—it is poised to become a core solution for construction safety management. The positive reactions we are witnessing on site are a strong indicator of the product’s commercialization and expansion potential.” They added, “Through human-centered technology, we aim to set a new standard for industrial safety.”
Throughout the expo, the FRT Robotics booth has hosted continuous StepUp NEO demonstrations, with visitors experiencing the product firsthand and further energizing the atmosphere on the exhibition floor.
